I just finished this gem that I found on vhs not too long ago. This is the perfect example of a movie that had a lot of good things going on, but just sucked. First off, I like Michael Jackson’s music, so that was a plus. Secondly, Will Vinton’s animation is always phenomenal. That being said, the overarching plot is ridiculous and it involves Joe Pesce as a drug dealer trying to push to kids? I think? ha- basically Michael Jackson and some kids find his hideout- he gets pissed-kidnaps a kid- Michael fights him (as a giant robot) and Michael wins and saves the kids. Throughout all of this there is a chase scene where Michael Jackson turns into a claymation wolf and then has a dance-off against it? I mean this movie is trippy. One of the best parts is a scene for scene re-inaction of the “Bad” music video, done with children. His cover of the Beatles “Come Together” closes the film and an excellent  Ladysmith Black Mambazo performance for the closing credits. It was interesting and trippy- but not so good. 2/5
